Traditional Weinkeller in Krems

Rudi showed us where wine used to be kept in the Wachau region – a Keller cut into a steep hillside. Some are still used, although much of the winemaking is becoming more mechanized, and the beautiful vine terraces are being abandoned for flat land where machines can do the picking.
