Jung’s house at Küsnacht

Jung's house at Kusnacht

Traveled yesterday to Jung’s house in Küsnacht, the C.G. Jung Institute, and Jung’s tower at Bollingen. After 2 trains and a walk up the busy lakeside street along the “Gold Coast” of the beautiful Zurich suburb of Kusnacht, we turned into the gate of the correct address and found ourselves on this elegant, formal path to Jung’s house! Jung’s creative imagination and his wife Emma’s good taste combined to create a moderately sized house with the aura of a small palace. My good guide Anja Michel and I were given a thoughtful tour of Jung’s working rooms, as well as a leisurely walk in the lakeside gardens. It’s a beautiful place, still inhabited by Andreas Jung, C.G.’s grandson, and another family, and full of life and history all at once.
