I haven’t yet said anything about the neighborhood where I am living. I live just on the eastern edge of the Donau Canal, pictured here from one of the two bridges I can cross easily from the neighborhood of the Freud Museum. It’s about a 10 minute walk. The canal looks very pleasant in this sunny picture. Most days, when it is cloudy, the “beautiful blue Danube” and its canal are a murky gray-green. The graffiti is ubiquitous here, and is accepted as a form of public art more than defacement or vandalism.
